The Nature of This Site

Humphreys County Released Inmates is an independent reference website. It is not part of the Humphreys County Sheriff's Office, MDOC, a court, a jail, or any other public office. The site keeps no official inmate or release record and cannot confirm custody, direct a release, post bond, or submit a filing for a visitor.

Its pages point to release-record custodians, official jail and corrections resources, and outside research tools. Access to Mississippi government records remains governed by applicable law, including the Mississippi Public Records Act, Miss. Code §§25-61-1 through -17, and any lawful exemption or court restriction.

Acceptable Use Rules

You may use the site only in a lawful way that respects other people, the service, and the limits of public-record information.

• Do not use the site while committing or planning an unlawful act.
• Do not use information to stalk, harass, intimidate, or threaten anyone.
• Do not rely on site content for hiring, housing, lending, or insurance decisions.
• Do not attempt to enter accounts, systems, or data without authorization.

No Consumer Reports

Humphreys County Released Inmates is not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA. It does not provide credit reports, consumer reports, or background checks. Its advertising and search partners do not provide screening services through this site. You agree not to use site or linked-tool information for an FCRA-covered decision.

Service Without Warranties

The site and all content are provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent allowed by law, no warranty is made about the following:

• The absence of errors, defects, bugs, or security weaknesses.

Custody status and public records can change quickly. Nothing published here is an official statement from the Humphreys County Sheriff, MDOC, a court, or another government authority.

Your Duty to Indemnify

Ownership of Site Materials

Unless another owner is identified, the site's text, graphics, logos, design elements, and code belong to Humphreys County Released Inmates or its content partners. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or republish those materials without prior written permission.

Mississippi Law Controls

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Mississippi, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute must be brought in a court with proper jurisdiction in Mississippi.

If One Term Fails

If a court finds one provision invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in force. The affected provision will be adjusted only to the extent needed to make it enforceable.
